The Pinnacle Difference
At Pinnacle we know how bright back light in a shop can affect the cameras capturing target images for any wheel aligner, including Hunter, Snap-on and Hofmann; even a polished floor can cause issues for any imaging aligner. The Pinnacle Difference was to improve imaging in high light situations, so we have added special filters that help to reduce the "back light" that can swamp the camera. In addition, our infrared light system uses 940 lights, while most of our competition uses only 850. Why? This feature has resulted in higher power and less image decay over longer ranges.

Target Image without Filters vs. Target Image with Lense Filters
Our Target Image vs. The Competition Target Image
Our aligners offer features you would only expect to find on the more expensive Hunter and Snap-On competition. We again, work with our manufacturer, 3 Excel, to assure only top quality components are used and that all aligners pass a very strengent inspection before shipment.
We offer models that utilize a second display, which can be viewed by the tech from under the car. Neither Hunter, Snap-On or Hofman offer this feature. Additionally we provide two models that come with a remote control as standard equipment for operating the aligner functions anywhere in the alignment bay .
Fianally for the Volkswagon specialist or Volkswagon dealership, we have three models that provide the VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) measurement routine programs as standard.
